Kathy Kartchner, FNP was raised in the sunshine of Tucson, Arizona. After spending a summer working as a traveling nurse in Juneau 2001, Kathy moved to Alaska with her family to enjoy the water, rain and snow of Juneau. She loves outdoor activities, including gardening, camping, and running. Kathy is the proud participant in the Juneau’s Wearable Arts Show in 2010 and 2012. She has a many skills to compliment her practice in aesthetic medicine and is excited to share her enthusiasm through Blue Mussel Aesthetics.
Rebecca Young grew up in Pennsylvania and moved to Southeast Alaska in 1996 to pursue a career in flight nursing. She currently works as a Family Nurse Practitioner in multiple arenas in Juneau, including the Army National Guard in Anchorage. In her spare time Rebecca enjoys running and cooking. In 2001 Rebecca returned to school to advance her education by obtaining a Masters Degree in Nursing. Rebecca has expanded her talents into aesthetic procedures. She is the co-founder of Blue Mussel Aesthetics.
